Reimagine

Plasbergs

Plasbergs is a pioneering environmental venture under the Reimagine Group umbrella, dedicated to transforming ocean-bound plastic into a force for ecological restoration. By repurposing recycled plastics into modular, ocean-deployable structures, Plasbergs facilitates the formation of new icebergs, aiding in marine ecosystem recovery and contributing to global cooling efforts.

How it works

  • Collection & Recycling: Ocean-bound plastics are collected and processed into durable materials.
  • Modular Design: The recycled plastic is molded into hexagonal structures that interlock, forming large-scale platforms.
  • Ice Formation: Deployed in polar regions, these structures promote natural ice accumulation.
  • Retrieval & Reuse: Once icebergs are established, the structures are retrieved for redeployment, ensuring minimal environmental impact.

Impact & Vision

Our vision is to transform ocean plastic into a regenerative force — restoring polar ecosystems, supporting climate stability, and proving that even our greatest waste can become a source of hope.

How Plasbergs Creates Impact

♻️   Turns waste into restoration: Recycled plastic is repurposed into ice-moulding structures that directly support climate regeneration.

❄️   Supports natural ice formation: Plasbergs facilitate new iceberg growth, reinforcing the albedo effect and helping to cool the planet.

🐋   Protects marine biodiversity: By regenerating icy habitats, we enable the return of seasonal migration routes and food sources for marine life.

⚓   Deployable and recoverable: Each Plasberg is designed to be monitored, removed, and reused—minimizing ecological risk while maximizing circularity.

🌐   Scalable and collaborative: From one unit to global deployment, Plasbergs offer a practical model for international cooperation on ocean and climate health.

How you can get involved

Plasbergs is seeking collaboration with:

  • Investors: To fund research, development, and deployment.
  • Research Institutions: For joint studies on environmental impact and technological advancement.
  • Policy Makers & NGOs: To align efforts with global sustainability goals.

Join us in redefining waste as a resource and forging a path toward a cooler, more sustainable planet.
